Elections

Engineering Student Government holds elections each fall and winter semester to select student representatives who will advocate for the College of Engineering student body.

Senators are elected in both the fall and winter semesters, while the President is elected during the winter election cycle. Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to run for positions and help shape the future of ESG through advocacy, programming, funding decisions, and student engagement.

Running for Office

Interested in serving as a Senator or Executive Officer? ESG welcomes students from all majors, class years, and backgrounds in the College of Engineering.

Serving in ESG is an opportunity to:

  • Represent the interests of engineering students

  • Advocate for change within the College of Engineering

  • Plan events and initiatives

  • Allocate funding to student organizations

  • Develop leadership and professional skills

Voting

All eligible engineering students are encouraged to participate in ESG elections. Voting information, ballot access instructions, and candidate statements will be published on this page during active election periods.
